Canadian Weekend House

DESCRIPTION: Designed for the 13th Milan Triennale, the Canadian Weekend House was a sophisticated and modern response to design a low cost, efficient, factory prefabricated Timber House.

Essentially a cedar wood and glass box, the spacious and open plan allowed for flexible living arrangements. All parts were designed to be packaged to an approximate total of 2200 cubic feet, suitable for easy transportation, and capable of rapid erection with minimum site labour.
